As Europe‘s leading manufacturer of workwear, Strauss is digitalizing its entire supply chain with consistency, speed and foresight.
Challenges
Strauss is realizing the complete digitization of its supply chain landscape. The objective is a holistic IT platform from the distributed order management to the PLCs at the technical level, with the aim to introduce a completely integrated digital process from order receipt to customer delivery.
Solution and Benefits
The successful go-live of the CI Factory in Schlüchtern provided Strauss with real-time transparency of inventory at various sites, overarching coordination and status tracking of processes, as well as efficient control of the complex processes in the highly automated plant. Following this, Infios has also integrated the new logistics location at the Strauss headquarters Biebergemünd into the overall logistics network. Efficient inventory and order processes will enhance operational flexibility to handle rising order volumes across all sites.
