Mitsubishi Motors

Mitsubishi had the challenge of maintaining strict control of its stock in three warehouses: engine, car and chassis factories. Without Infios, Mitsubishi's warehouse operation was entirely manual and had a high dependence on the knowledge of operators. The focus of the project was to:

• Provide more consistent management of stock
• Avoid delivery errors
• Integrate cross docking from the SP CD to the factory in Catalão.

To address these challenges, Mitsubishi implemented Infios Warehouse Management System (WMS).

With Infios, the most critical items within Mitubishi’s inventory started to receive special treatment after the implementation of specific rules in the system to identify demand. Additional benefits included:

• Speeding up cross docking, sending items from the receipt straight to the line
• Decreasing supply disruptions
• Reducing costs
