Successful launch of K.Motion WMS at REWE International accelerates: first locations now live
REWE International continues with comprehensive supply chain optimizations. The first implementations are live, the initiative’s overall objective is the modernization of a complex logistics process landscape with Körber's Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Through its partnership with Körber, REWE International aimed to modernize its wide-ranging logistics network throughout Austria and Southeastern Europe. The successful implementation of the K.Motion Warehouse Management System (WMS) at a first location in April 2023 marked the starting point. This was followed by the migration of another warehouse location in Wiener Neudorf at the beginning of 2024. The introduction of a standardized logistics software platform at around 40 locations is progressing rapidly.

At the same time, this cooperation showcased the unparalleled flexibility of our K.Motion WMS, which demonstrated its strengths, especially within a multi-layered logistics network, creating added value along the entire supply chain."
As part of the latest software implementation, the processes in the warehouse were also optimized. Additional core and basic processes were specified, developed and tested in successive phases. This iterative process allowed the template to undergo further refinement and development. The future system platform was designed to accommodate all current and future business areas of strategic and operational logistics.
